This position will provide financial and business analysis support for ECPI University, a 15 campus regionally accredited career university. This position reports directly to the President and will be a member of the executive management team. The role offers an exciting opportunity for a detailed, intellectually curious, and analytical minded candidate with experience in managerial accounting. 


• Leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis
• Conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations
• Reviews analysis results, develops insightful suggestions for sourcing, cost reduction and strategic business decisions
• Lead management reporting, including KPI dashboards, business trends and performance vs plan
• Develop and maintain and monthly forecasting process
• Create analyses, commentary and presentation materials for University leadership meetings
• Deliver weekly financial updates, monthly performance analyses and quarterly rolling forecast
• Maintain the five-year strategic financial plan and business model
• Analyze financial planning tools and processes; make recommendations for improvement
• Support the monthly accounting close process with detailed monthly financial analyses
• Provide financial modeling and analysis for various ad-hoc financial projects
• Operating metrics - analysis around KPI's and executive reporting
• Business forecasting & action-oriented analytics
• Creating forecast models to enable sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Capital budgeting and resource optimization
• Statistical tools to evaluate and extrapolate relationships/trends
• Assist in the development of the Annual Operating Plan


Skills Required:
• Ability to work with large amounts of data to develop and enhance complex financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and drive new business insights
• Perform detailed analysis to drive strategic insights and actions
• 4 plus years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, consulting, investment banking, or related field
• Experience in financial modeling, data driven financial analysis, and managerial accounting
• Strong level of financial and business acumen
• Must have ability to interact effectively at multiple levels of the university


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, quantitative field or related discipline
• MBA or Masters in Analytics preferred
