We are currently seeking a Student Services Coordinator to work closely with our students for the purpose of promoting student success and retention.  The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for receiving, imaging and/or entering student records information, overseeing the purchase, inventory and distribution of University Bookstore apparel and supplies, coordinating the campus transfer of credit process, and receiving student tuition payments.

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensuring all official student records are received and imaged, to include: official Proof of Graduation (POG), postsecondary transcripts, and official University documents as required per University policy.
  • Providing official and unofficial student transcripts within the timelines established by the University Registrar’s office and as requested by the student.
  • Accurately inputting student information in the University's CampusNexus student data management system.
  • Ordering books, e-books, apparel, and traditional bookstore supplies; performing routine inventory audits.
  • Coordinating the campus transfer of credit process. Responsible for receiving official post-secondary transcripts, routing to the appropriate Academic Officials, and posting transfer credits awarded in the official academic record in a timely manner.
  • Receiving student tuition payment process to include institutional and third party loan programs and various tuition assistance programs. Providing billing for all tuition reimbursement programs to include employer, Vocational Rehabilitation, Military Tuition Assistance, Workforce Investment Act, etc.
  • Conducting exit reviews with graduating students to provide information on student loan exit counseling and discussion of any ECPI University account balances.
  • Upholding student educational privacy as stated in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and University policy. Responsible for ensuring all student education record requests adhere to these policies.

Qualifications

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of related experience. 
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

 

Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in CampusNexus Student database, preferred.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly master new methodologies, technologies and systems.
  • Ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures.
  • Able to interact with employees, potential students and outside contacts of all levels, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team as well as with various constituents
